Highland Offers the
Following Foreign Language programs. Students are STRONGLY
encouraged to begin their study of a foreign language as a Freshman in
order to achieve reasonable proficiency. All HHS Foreign Language
classes meet the University of California college preparatory
requirements.

Spanish: Four years, culminating in either
Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate (IB-SL)

Latin: Four years, culminating in
International Baccalaureate (IB-SL)

French: Four years

American Sign Language: Two years
